How your data is protected
Propela treats clinical data as the special-category data it is. Protection is built into the architecture, not bolted on.
Encryption and isolation
Recordings are encrypted in the browser before upload. Transcripts, notes, and messages live under row-level security, so one practice can never see another’s data. Recording encryption keys are held separately from the data they protect.
Access control and audit
Roles decide who can open clinical notes — a receptionist cannot. Sensitive actions are written to an audit log that owners and admins can search.
Your GDPR rights
You can export everything held about a client as a single machine-readable file, and you can erase a client completely. Consent to recording is captured explicitly and stored.
